Dike Chukwumerije - How the African Can Help the African American ||

In honor of Africa Day 2024🌍 Orange Poetry is thrilled to share a powerful collaboration with the incredible Dike Chukwumerije. Together, we've created a spoken word poetry video where Dike performs his thought-provoking piece, "How the African Can Help the African American."

Reflecting on his profound insights, Dike once wrote, "I cannot help but see these things through the lenses of my own immediate environment. That Tribalism is to the mono-racial society, what Racism is to the multi-racial one. And when there is only one Tribe, those who wish will use clans. And when there is only one Clan, those who wish will use families. For, in many ways, it is simply a habit - of looking for differences. And so let me say how I think we can help our people in America..."

This collaboration is a celebration of unity, reflection, and the shared experiences of Africans and the African diaspora.
