Ana Black is Canada's answer to Motley Crue, with Racer X style duo guitarists. The band was formed in Kingston, Ottawa Canada during 1983. After gaining a large following in their hometown; the band decided to relocate to the Sunset Strip, where yet again they became a big local hit. After attracting a large following on the Sunset Strip, the band was signed to Sony/Epic Records. Ana Black has a dark image and a vicious heavy metal sound at times. The band is well known for having crazy shredder guitarists. The band embodies a tough sound and attitude that is synonymous with the early Glam Metal bands.
