The RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) Scale is a way in which you can monitor yourself whilst exercising. By using it you know you are exercising at the correct and safe level for you. I use the Borg 6-20 RPE Scale in my Cardiac Rehabilitation videos. Use alongside the Talk Test and heart rate monitoring.
