Boniface Mwangi, Starehe candidate, raises money through crowdfunding

Ever heard of crowd funding? It is loosely defined as funding a project by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people. In Kenyan politics, it is almost unheard of, as campaign funds are largely dark, murky no go zones.
Boniface Mwangi a new entrant in politics has opted for crowd funding and is asking his supporters to donate 10 shillings. With a target of 10 Million shillings Boniface who is vying for the Starehe Constituency seat. says it will make him more accountable to the people who fund his campaign.
