🙌 This is a hack I wish I had discovered sooner! I went and bought a bunch of nursing shirts when I had our first child, but especially in the wintertime with wearing layers, it felt like an olympic sport to try to get to my boobs through all the different layers, zippers and flaps, not to mention doing so while leaking all over the place and trying to not be exposed in public. 😳

🌟 Here’s the solution: nursing camis! It’s infinitely easier to just pull your shirt up than to try to pull your boobs out through a nursing shirt. But when you pull your shirt up with just a nursing bra underneath, it exposes your entire midriff. If you are wearing a nursing cami instead of a bra, the cami stays pulled down to cover your body and then all you have to do is unclip the top portion and latch baby!👏 It works throughout summer and winter.

Here are some other benefits:
🤱 Underwire bras are not ideal for breastfeeding and milk production. Camis are shelf lined, so no underwire.
🤱 They are usually at least two layers of fabric up top, so you have more coverage than a bra and they may even absorb a little of the leakage too- much moreso than a typical bra.
🤱 I found they clicked and unclicked up top much easier than any nursing bra I had, so I was fumbling less.
🤱 They work during pregnancy too, so I was super happy to find something that could support my growing body, while continuing to breastfeed.
