Installing a MicroSD card on your TCL TAB 10L Gen 3 allows you to expand your device's storage for apps, media, and files. Follow these steps to correctly insert and configure the MicroSD card:

Step 1: Power Off the Device
Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.
Select Power off to turn off your TCL TAB 10L Gen 3.
Turning off the device ensures safe handling of internal components.
Step 2: Locate the MicroSD Card Slot
Find the MicroSD card slot on the side of your device.
It is usually a small, labeled slot with a tray for the card.
Step 3: Eject the Card Tray
Use the SIM ejector tool included with your device or a small pin.
Insert the tool into the small hole next to the MicroSD card slot and gently press until the tray pops out.
Step 4: Place the MicroSD Card
Remove the tray completely from the device.
Align the MicroSD card with the tray:
The metal contacts of the card should face downward.
Ensure the card fits snugly in the designated slot.
If your device also supports a SIM card, ensure it is placed in its appropriate slot on the tray.
Step 5: Insert the Tray Back into the Device
Carefully slide the tray back into the slot.
Push it gently but firmly until it is fully seated.
Step 6: Power On the Device
Press and hold the Power button to turn the device back on.
Wait for the device to boot up completely.
Step 7: Configure the MicroSD Card
Once the device is powered on, a notification will appear recognizing the MicroSD card.
Tap on the notification to configure the card.
Choose between Portable storage (for transferring files) or Internal storage (to expand device storage).
Follow the on-screen instructions to format the card if necessary.
