NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and training 7-12-23

Elaine Kelly and Nuha Bazeer from the Health Foundation spoke about their work analysing the training commitments in NHS Long Term Workforce Plan at the latest Health and Social Care Workforce Research Forum Webinar on 7 December 2023.

Nuha explained the process for reaching consensus on modelling workforce data while Elaine highlighted the need to monitor closely trends in the number of people undertaking training as health care workers.

The Forum is convened by Jo Moriarty of the NIHR Health & Social Care Workforce Research Unit at King's College London.
