In today's episode, Christian and Anna dive into a handful of vintage watches currently available in the T&H Watch Shop! First up, we have a look at two vintage Rolex Bubblebacks, both with interesting and highly unique patina. What's fascinating about Bubblebacks is that, for their time, they were the "sport watches" which, when you consider that most of them fell below 35mm or so, is fascinating, especially when compared to the sport watches of today.

Next up, we take a look at two Universal Geneve Polerouters, a watch designed by Gerald Genta (when he was 23!!!) that rides the line perfectly between dressy and sporty. They ride the line between classical dress watches, like the Tank, and the sporty luxury pieces that Genta would go on to design later (like the Royal Oak and Nautilus).

In the middle of all of it, we have a classic watch design in the form of the Rolex Oyster Case. Whether it's an iconic 1600 Datejust, or a Tudor Jumbo Date-Day in 38mm, the Oyster Case is a matter of iconism at its finest. All of these watches on the table, and in the shop, are all indicative of one large truth - vintage watches are not just items, but emblems of a world we no longer live in, and a life we couldn't even imagine.
