Traditions: Kentucky Rifle 50.Cal

Finally finished my rifle, and just out testing it out. Had an issue with it not firing, because I didn't clear out the barrel, and fire off a blank. But it shoots great, can't wait till I actually test the accuracy.

I loved making this gun, bought the kit early in 2016, didn't start on it till December 16th, and finished it February 1st. Other people can build faster than me, but its my first, so i wanted to make sure I did it right.

UPDATE October - 2017. I am a little embarrassed to watch this video now, I learned so much, and watching this I knew so very little. Biggest tip, before shooting, make sure you swab that bore, get all the oil(or whatever you used to clean) cleaned out, and fire off some caps to make sure its cleared. Or your powder won't burn, and have the issues I do. Also, you can pull the nipple off, and add powder that way to clear the ball out. So no need to comment any “Tips” on the issues I was having that day.
