Hiding behind the foliage and trees on the side of a mountain lies the remains of a huge operation. It went by several names but most recently known as the Glen Burn mine company. It operated for over 130yrs and even had a coal mine tour for the public in the later years of operation. The back strip mine area still seems to be operational but everything else seems to be getting reclaimed by mother nature. Enjoy
