NASA DC-8-72 N817NA was donated to the Idaho State University at Pocatello Regional Airport, ID, to help train the future aviation professionals for decades to come.

Its final flight from Palmdale, CA was on 15th May 2024, marking the end of 25 years of Earth science missions worldwide.

It was a tough shoot due to heat haze and the sun angle, but good to see the final flight.
