The process of writing a resume itself has nothing to do with information technology, but it’s going to be challenging to get the IT jobs you want without a good one. Chris and Shawn dig into the soft skills that are most essential to being an IT professional, then discuss how to incorporate those into your resume or CV seamlessly.

They’ll begin by discussing what to put on your resume: your basic information, skill sets, experience, education, and certifications. Equally important, they’ll tell you some of the things NOT to put on your resume, outlining commonly-seen mistakes.

Finally, they’ll use a few real resumes to compare and contrast what’s effective and what isn’t.
