😪Those under the religious-pharisee-spirit,
typically they have LITTLE to NO sense
of humour, especially when they are
the butt of the humour*²

Live at Peace with ALL...
as much as this is possible for you.

Bearing in mind that God so Loved He the World
that He sent Jesus to SAVE everyone from
their Sins & Sinning, including ALL the religious pharisees of His literal day, Jesus spoke
The Truth-in-Love ALL the time in what
we might define as "Observational-Humour"
when Jesus pointed out the obvious
Hypocrisies of the woeful-pharisees
eg the gnats & the camels joke

Matthew 23:15,24,27-28,33
[15]“Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees,
hypocrites! For you travel land & sea
to win one proselyte, & when he is won,
you make him twice as much a son
of hell as yourselves.
[24]Blind guides, who strain out a gnat
& swallow a camel!
[27]“Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees,
hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed
tombs which indeed appear beautiful
outwardly, but inside are full of
dead men’s bones & all uncleanness.
[28]Even so you also outwardly appear
righteous to men, but inside you are full
of hypocrisy & lawlessness.
[33]Serpents, brood of vipers! How can
you escape the condemnation of hell?

Selah...

It is clear then & now that the self-righteous
hypocritical woeful-pharisees had LITTLE to
NO sense of humour & they were certainly
NOT self-deprecating in the sense of
poking fun at themselves!

Jesus taught His Disciples about
The Religious-spirited pharisees
by using Parables...& by Christ's 3rd year
of Public Ministry, The Lord's summary
of The Woes that were coming to
The Pharisees was one of the reasons
they FELT like they HAD TO kill Him!

Jesus was Immanuel, God-with-us,
God-Incarnate & The Religious-pharisees
were Blind to the fact that they were
talking to God-in-Christ &....how they
treated Jesus was how they were
treating God-YHVH, The Father-God,
&that Father had sent His Only-Begotten
Son to INSPECT The Vineyards of Israel,
ie The Branches of The Grapevines for
Good Fruit in keeping with Repentance...

Jesus engaged with The Children of Israel,
to SEE who were Sheep & Lambs who'd
Hear their TRUE Shepherd's Voice...
&who wouldn't..!

Jesus knew IN The Holy Spirit of
my-our1HolyGod WHO received Him
&who rejected Him

Jesus had 12 Men to Share His Life,
His Way, His Truth, His Light with
& only 3 years to get them Ready

He told them clearly that His Disciples'
Righteousness MUST surpass that
Of The Religious-pharisees!

This is True for me-us Today & amongst us,
Christ's True Holy-Living Remnant-Few
Obedient-Disciple-Ambassadors, The1Body
of The1Christ throughout This Fallen-World,
there must NOT be a hint of Sexual Immorality,
ie Sin which is absolutely inappropriate
in God's Family of His1True Children!

Christ's Behaviour before His Father
&before Man, it was Exemplary:
Good, Perfect, Holy, Righteous, Kind,
Loving, Compassionate, Patient & True

God-Christ said-says:
Be Perfect...Be Holy...
&
Every Command Jesus gave-gives is to
be Obeyed by us, we who ARE Born-Again
AND Baptised with-in-by-through
The Holy Spirit, we who ARE Christ's True
members of Christ's True Body of Christ's
Holy-Living Remnant-Few Obedient-
Disciple-Ambassadors
