This is a fun boss battle where you hit blocks that determine whether you launch one, two, or three bullet bills at the boss, or, if you hit it at the wrong time, you will get a spiny. Spiny's take away points if you hit them. I recommend jumping one before the item that you want so you hit the boss at the right time. Try to hit Lakitu the most and earn the most points. Extra points are also given for the final attack. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Good luck!
