Historic Clifton Mill - Columbus Neighborhoods

Описание к видео Historic Clifton Mill - Columbus Neighborhoods

Historic Clifton Mill holiday light display features over 4 million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges.

This mill is one of the largest water-powered grist mills still in existence. The first mill at this site was originally called Davis Mill and was built in 1802 by Owen Davis, a Revolutionary War soldier and frontiersman miller.

The Historic Clifton Mill was built in this location to take advantage of the natural power of the concentrated water funneled from the Little Miami River into the Clifton Gorge. The Satariano family purchased the mill in 1987 and continue to preserve its historical integrity.
