A Moor plays a bull with the cape while another looks on from behind, while a third, seated on the ground, curses the animal. The scene is set in a place enclosed by a wooden barrier, similar to a primitive bullring. The appearance of these Muslims, as in the other prints, is inspired by the Mameluke (Egyptian Muslim) soldiers who were part of Napoleon's invasion and also took part in bullfights during Joseph Bonaparte's reign.
