To get a sense of the type of work that the Israelite slaves would have been compelled to do during their time in Egypt, our team traveled out to a rural village beyond Luxor, to talk with the owner of an authentic sun-dried brick-making yard that have been making bricks this way for generations. It is intense, messy, and back-breaking work and Jeremy was willing to roll up his sleeves and try it for himself!
