Anne Thong and Tharushi Walisinghe Present: A Recital for Kidney Health

On 28 July 2024, my best friend and fellow 3rd year medical student Tharushi and I had the amazing opportunity to do something very special! With 2 months of preparation, we gave our very own violin-piano recital, donating all proceeds to Kidney Health Australia. We managed to raise a total of $1867.25 for kidney health, which surpassed our target! So grateful to everyone who supported us, including the Monash University Medical Students' Society (MUMUS) who so kindly funded the core expenses for our recital! A core memory that we will never forget (: We're so unbelievably thankful for the opportunities to continue making music in medical school and pursue fantastic repertoire that we've always dreamed of performing.

On a side note it was 7 degrees and the stage wasn't heated - getting our fingers moving was probably the greatest achievement of the evening xx
