USS Sterett DD-407 - "Intercepting the Tokyo Express"

USS Sterett (DD-407) was a Benham class destroyer named after Andrew Sterett, an early American naval officer who rose to fame during the Barbary Wars. She fought in the chaotic Naval Battle of Guadalcanal (November 1942) and the Battle of Vella Gulf (August 1943). Sterett was awarded 12 battle stars and a Presidential Unit Citation for her service during World War 2.

I personally feel that Mr. Lundgren's work answers a lot of the questions, gaps in timelines and stuff that has never added up surrounding the official narrative of what happened in Savo Sound on the night of November 12-13, 1942.
