In today’s episode of Investigating Ancient Sinnoh, we focus on one major goal — Perfecting Kricketot in the Pokédex. This turns into a huge progress episode with a ton of surprises along the way.

We finish every Kricketot task, evolve our very first Pokémon into Kricketune, and clean up more Fieldlands research than expected. And just when things felt routine… we land our second shiny of the series — a Shiny Zubat. One of the best early-game catches so far.

We also caught our first Cherrim, added two Happiny to the roster, and took down an unexpected Alpha Golbat in the woods. Every catch pushes the Pokédex and the journey forward as we continue exploring the Obsidian Fieldlands before the Kleavor fight.
