We'll hear from Isabel Sands, a PhD candidate at Caltech working in the field of computational modeling of dark matter models.

Isabel Sands is a PhD Candidate at Caltech in physics. Isabel did her undergraduate studies at Yale in physics before joining Caltech as a graduate student a few years ago. Her research is in astroparticle physics, attempting to better understand the nature of dark matter through theoretical models of different particles or collections of particle candidates. She runs computational simulations of cosmological structure formation using different proposed models for dark matter to better understand the observational signatures of these proposed candidates and constrain which best fit our reality.
