Mention the name Jimmy Johnstone to football fans from the 60s and 70s and an immediate image forms in their minds. They can picture the small red-haired figure darting here, twisting there, leaving in his wake a series of very bewildered defenders as he fully lived up to his nickname of "Jinky".

One of the supreme entertainers of the Scottish game. Jimmy was also a very strong and brave winger, who became the ultimate star in that team of stars. The Lisbon Lions: the first-ever British team to win the European Cup.
