Welcome back to my Munsyari Birding Vlog Series!
This episode captures the final day of our tour — a short session, but filled with unforgettable moments. Even with limited time, Munsyari once again proved that nature always surprises you when you least expect it.

🌄 Early Morning Birding — Short Session, Big Sightings

In just a short window, we recorded some incredible Himalayan species:
🪶 Himalayan Monal
🪶 Koklass Pheasant
🪶 Dark-breasted Rosefinch
🪶 Multiple Woodpecker Species
🪶 Tits & Warblers

The forest was quiet, the light was soft, and yet the birds blessed us with some beautiful activity.

⭐ Golden Eagle — The Perfect Last-Day Moment

On the first day, we had seen a Golden Eagle briefly while it was chasing a Monal — but it disappeared before we could document it properly.

And then… nature surprised us.

On the very last day, as if gifting us a farewell, the Golden Eagle appeared perched beautifully, with the majestic Panchachuli Peaks in the background.
It sat calmly for a long time before taking off — allowing us to capture incredible close shots.

For one of our guests, this was a lifer, and she even turned emotional seeing this mighty raptor so close.
Moments like these stay with you forever.

🚁 Helicopter Ride Back to Sattal

After the session, we headed to the Munsyari Helipad.
As the chopper lifted off, we drifted over terraced fields, winding mountain roads, tiny villages, and the vast Himalayan slopes.
We were so absorbed in the landscape that we didn’t even realize how quickly we reached Haldwani.

It felt like flying through a moving postcard — the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey.
Our guests truly enjoyed this unique experience.
