Black Forest Pudding - One of the tastiest puddings I’ve made so far...easy to make and absolutely yum 🤤😍!!
Ingredients (Serves 8)
First layer
1. Chocolate Pudding (Recipe in comments section)
Second layer
2. Chocolate cake, cut into small cubes or slightly crumbled (Homemade or Store bought. I used @kailasfoodrecipes easy chocolate cake recipe. Recipe in comments section👇)
3. Cherry syrup - 1/4 cup
Chocolate syrup - 3-4 tbsp or as required (Optional, I used Hershey's)
Cherries in syrup, chopped - 5 (I used maraschino cherries)
Third layer
4. Heavy whipping cream - 1.5 cup
Sweetened condensed milk - 1/2 tin (200 gm)
Vanilla extract- 1/2 tsp
6. Chocolate bar - 4 oz, grated or shaved
7. Cherries, to garnish
Method
1. Combine heavy cream with condensed milk and vanilla extract. Whip until medium peaks form.
2. Prepare the chocolate pudding and pour into the pudding cups or in a rectangular tray. Top it with the cake cubes followed by chopped cherry, cherry syrup (1/2 - 1 tsp for a pudding cup) and chocolate syrup, if using. Top it with whipped cream followed by grated chocolate and cherry. Refrigerate for atleast 3-4 hrs. It tastes super yum, do give it a try!!
