11/23/09: Timneh African Grey kids at 65 and 69 days old

http://www.nitasnest.com/birdstogo.html ... The babies are only getting one formula handfeeding per day now and eating really well on their own. This video was taken before and during one feeding. It begins with the kids on the counter, where they had great fun playing with a pen while I was preparing their food. Even just a week ago they were not so playful, but now everything is fair game. They are also HUGE kids. I weighed them just before this video and the male weighed 354 grams and his little sister weighed 338 grams! These kids will be available to good homes after they are completely weaned. For info, check the website given at the start of this description. I don't let them go until they have been without a formula handfeeding for a full week, but it looks like that will be in just a couple weeks.
