Hey guys, recently I've been delving into Wordpress a bit more. I've had some Wordpress sites and even ecommerce stores in the past but I've always hired people to build them for me.

I wanted to practice and learn Wordpress a bit more so decided I would build a blog to go along with this Youtube Channel and decided to do things myself this time.

Wordpress is definitely more of a learning curve than using Blogger or a Weebly or Wix or something like that, and while it can be a little complicated getting things exactly how you want, the actual process of setting up a site and blogging is actually fairly simple.

Anyhow, in my preparation of trying to find themes and sites I liked I looked at some other people's sites who do similar things to me to look for some guidance and ideas and it got me thinking, how can I tell what theme they are using?

I looked into it and found not only is there a manual way to do this, but there's also even a tool/site out there that you can just plug a domain name into and see what theme they are using as well as get linked directly to where you can buy it. The tool is called WPThemeDetector.Com if you want to check it out for yourself.

In addition to using this tool I'm also going to show you how to do this manually. You simply visit the site your curious about, right click and click inspect. Then type Control F to bring up the find or search function and then type in "style.css". This should show you what theme they are using as well.
