Pregnancy Journey Amid Breast Cancer Fight

A breast cancer diagnosis can be scary, combined with a pregnancy only compounds how treatment needs to be approached. Nicole was 24 weeks pregnant when she noticed a lump on her breast and her world was turned upside down. Thanks to the support of the staff and services of SSM Health Nicole was able to navigate through not only her Breast Cancer treatment but also a high risk pregnancy for a positive outcome. Nicole, a nurse at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon, experienced things from the patient side in her pregnancy Journey while undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
