Miami Airport Train (Skytrain Round Trip)

Unlike I had previously assumed and read online, it is possible to get to this train (and the E-Train) as long as you have a ticket departing Miami Airport. I was flying out of Concourse J when I took this video, and just told the Concourse D checkpoint that I wanted to look around the airport.

This is the Miami Airport Skytrain that covers the distance of Concourse D. It's the other Mitsubishi Crystal Mover system here, the first being the MIA Mover. This system has a different set up than other airport trains and has two uses. Primarily, it is used to assist passengers in getting from one end of Concourse D to the other, as the concourse is almost a mile long. This uses two cars of the trains. Secondarily, it is used to transport international arrivals into the passport control area of the concourse. This utilizes the other two train cars.

This train has suffered one major accident in its time a few years back. When a train was being manually operated for maintenance, the employee driving did not stop the four car train in time and drove two cars onto the roof of the terminal.
