Virtual application uses real-time data to project 3D map of Singapore

Bentley Systems has designed a virtual application that uses real-time data to project a 3D map of Singapore. This makes it easier to visualise data, such as the amount of energy buildings consume, or a building's solar efficiency. The map can also capture other information that can help government agencies improve efficiency in different areas, like transportation. For instance, it can quickly spot areas of train tracks that require urgent maintenance. The Singapore Land Authority is looking to adopt this new technology to enhance and simplify the way it uses data that it collects.
