At the same time, in Maharashtra and along the Konkan coast, we also celebrate Narli Purnima on this full moon day. It marks the end of the monsoon season and the beginning of the fishing season. On this auspicious day, coconuts (naral) are offered to the sea as a form of thanksgiving, and people prepare a traditional sweet dish called Narli Bhaat – a delicious coconut rice flavored with jaggery, cardamom, and dry fruits. 🌴🍚
