At the end of the Second World War, a number of high ranking Nazis were executed for their involvement in the concentration camps and war crimes. The Nuremberg Trials condemned a number of men to death, and the executioner who performed these executions is a man who has gone down in History as a brutal and botching hangman who was not fit to perform the job. John C Woods was an American soldier who made up that he was an executioner following D-Day, and the Americans did not check his credentials.

With this, he became an executioner who would take the lives of dozens of American soldiers, German soldiers and war criminals and at many times these went very wrong. The Nuremberg executions themselves took far too long, and many of the condemned bashed their heads on the trapdoors, or took a very significantly long time to die. John C Woods was a botching executioner, and he was a man who is rather mysterious.
