How To Fix Tesla Model X Passenger-Side Bench Seat Easy Entry Sliders

Описание к видео How To Fix Tesla Model X Passenger-Side Bench Seat Easy Entry Sliders

Despite many Tesla Service Centers not (yet) knowing how to diagnose these issues, Tesla Model X seat sliders and easy entry can be fixed without replacing the seat!

My right-hand passenger-side 2nd row seat failed on my Tesla, and wouldn't lock to the track. After a lot of research and finally figuring out how to fix it, I couldn't believe how common it was that Tesla Service Centers would charge people thousands of dollars to fully replace replace their seats to address this. The same problem causes the Easy Entry button to not cause the seat to slide forward. I'm publishing this video to show owners and service centers how to properly diagnose and address this common problem in the hope of saving people thousands and wasting so many seats.

You can have two symptoms. Either your seat slides uncontrollably and won't lock to the track, or when you use the Easy Entry button, you can't slide the seat forward to access the back seats. You may have this warning on your dash: "The second row seat is not locked on the track" "Push seat base forward then rearward"
