TUYA RECONSTRUCTION FROM EGYPTIAN MUMMY | Nefertiti's Grandmother

TUYA, WIFE OF YUYA, MOTHER OF QUEEN TIYE, ANEN, AND PHARAOH AY, GREAT GRANDMOTHER OF KING TUT. DIED 1375 BC (AGED 55+-) LIVED DURING THE REIGN OF AMENHOTEP III, SHE & YUYA HAD A TOMB IN THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS, ALTHOUGH NOT BEING ROYALS.
SOME HISTORIANS THINK SHE & YUYA WERE OF SEMETIC ORIGINS BASED ON THEIR NAMES & FEATURES... AMONG OTHER CLUES.THEY LIVED IN AKHMIN WHERE MANY IMMIGRANTS HAD MOVED TO. THEIR UNDECORATED TOMB WAS FOUND IN FEBRUARY 1905 BY JAMES QUIBELLl.
TUYA & YUYA'S SHARED TOMB WAS FILLED WITH TREASURES, FROM CHARIOTS, FURNITURE GOLD & MUCH MORE! TUYA'S MUMMY WAS VERY WELL PRESERVED SHE WAS BURIED WEARING GOLD SANDALS. AFTER SCANNING, SHE APPEARS TO HAVE HAD SCOLIOSIS.
INTERESTINGLY ONLY ONE OF HER EARS WERE PIERCED WITH A DOUBLE PIERCING.
TUYA WAS A SINGER OF HATHOR AND CHIEF OF ENTERTAINERS FOR THE GOD AMUN-MIN. HER MAIN ROLE WAS OVERSEER OF THE HAREM.
IF PHARAOH AY TRUELY WAS THE FATHER OF NEFERTITI THAT WOULD MAKE TUYA NEFERTITI'S GRANDMOTHER.

I have worked one this interesting mummy recons, that of Tuya a noblewoman from the 18th Dynasty. I found this process quite difficult, as Tuya has a slight masculine features and interestingly blonde hair... some suggest the blond hair was bleached when mummification took place, however if we look at her daughter who has much more hair "Queen Tiye" her hair was not bleached from the natron salt process. Therefore I deduce that she really probably did have blond hair, as we have examples of people with blond hair on tomb walls and even some blond wigs were found! But we are not certain!
