You’re watching the weekly where you join us as we buy and sell luxury watches from our shop in the UK.

The first customer has a 2004 Rolex Submariner 16610 for sale. An initial offer of £6,500 has been put forward however we discover that the watch bracelet has been fully mirror polished. This means that we would need to refurbish the watch to add the brushed finish back before it could find a new home. With this in mind can we negotiate a new deal?

Josh’s customer is looking to take advantage of the current lower pricing in the steel sports watch market and has his eyes set on a Starbucks Submariner, reference 126610LV. He had spotted the watch in our exclusive deals WhatsApp group (the link to join is below in the description) before contacting Josh directly to secure the watch.

Harry is back in the studio and responding to your comments on the last video. We’ll discuss which sports Rolex, Omega or Breitling you could buy to sit alongside a Datejust 16233 in a two watch collection. Is patina something to get excited about or just a fancy word for damage in the vintage watch space? We’ll debate whether the pros of owning a modern watch outweigh the charm of vintage timepieces.

In the shop Jon is serving a gent with a rather stunning Rolex Day-Date 128238. This is the 36mm yellow gold model with a champagne diamond dial and president bracelet. The client wants a direct purchase even though the sale or return price is considerably higher. With some assistance from Jack, can the team negotiate the right price for the gold watch?

Hendo is in the studio, this time with two vintage yellow gold dive watches from Rolex. The watches are £15k apart in value and Hendo looks to explain why that is the case. The first one is a 1986 reference 16808 with a matte black nipple dial - which is quite unusual and rare to find. The other is a 1991 16618 which has had one owner from new and has been professionally refurbished to tidy up the appearance of the watch. We also get to see a Pro Hunter Sea-Dweller that Hendo is sporting on the wrist.
