PENALTY + POOR DEFENDING - SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 1-3 PRESTON NORTH END 2024/25 CHAMPIONSHIP AWAY VLOG!

In this video it is Sheffield Wednesday's final game of 2024! Sheffield Wednesday vs Preston North End away at Deepdale in the 2024/25 EFL Championship!
Wednesday went into this game off the back of that crazy 3-0 comeback to 3-3 away at Middlesborough and Preston went into this one off the back of a 1-0 home victory against Hull City!
Wednesday started off strong and looked the better side off the start but it was Preston who actually ended up scoring first, a lapse in concentration from Wednesday and Preston headed a ball across the box for it to be tapped into the empty net to make it 1-0 - Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Preston North End!
Not much else happened in the first half, but Wednesday continued to play as the better side getting some chances here and there, the half time whistle blew - HT Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Preston North End!
Wednesday came out the second half with a slight change in shape and this worked as they eventually got the equaliser through a great strike from Josh Windass into the bottom corner, the score now 1-1 - Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Preston North End!
But just as Wednesday got their equaliser, Preston are awarded a penalty after a very sloppy challenge from Dominic Iorfa, Sam Greenwood steps up for the lilywhites and converts to put Preston back into the lead with about 30 minutes to go in the game! - Sheffield Wednesday 1-2 Preston North End!
Wednesday kept pushing for another equaliser, getting more and more attacking, but they just couldn't find the net with Preston defending so well and then when caught on a counter, Beadle saves the initial strike but Preston's Riis finds the net again from a rebound, very frustrating time to concede in the match and that just about killed the game - Sheffield Wednesday 1-3 Preston North End!
The full time whistle went and Preston picked up all 3 points at Deepdale - FT Sheffield Wednesday 1-3 Preston North End!
Onto Derby County at home on New Years Day in 2025!
