OPENING night might be three months away, but already the cast can't stop laughing at each other.

Dressed in their colourful costumes, the stars of this year's Customs House panto tease each other as they have their photograph taken.

The festive offering this Christmas is Dick Whittington, and judging by the tomfoolery at the first official photoshoot, it's going to be one to remember.

The show's stars -- Ray Spencer MBE and Bob Stott -- can barely control themselves as they sit dressed as their alter-egos Tommy and Dame Dotty.

And what makes this show, at the Mill Dam venue in South Shields, even more special for the comedy duo, is that after 37 years, Dame Dotty is hanging up her frock and this will be their last panto together.
