Tea With Tosh circa 1986, an interview with artist/performance artist Harry Kipper of The Kipper Kids. Tosh Berman is the host. Made for public access in Los Angeles. Brian Routh as Harry Kipper​, part of The Kipper Kids​ was/is a great presence in my life in the 1970s and 1980s. My dad Wallace Berman helped promoted a show for Brian/Harry in Topanga Canyon at this fantastic club Mermaid Tavern. I think sometime in 1975. The Kipper Kids did numerous shows in punk clubs as well as art institutions in Los Angeles and elsewhere. From the U.K., they struck me as a brilliant version of British Music Hall culture, but of course, beyond that. In 1987 I interviewed Brian/Harry on my "Tea With Tosh" show. It's one of my favorite episodes because one, Brian was and still is a delight, and I think his work is important as a performance and visual artist. - Tosh Berman, Your host for "Tea With Tosh"
