With the changes to the legislation for residential tenancies in NSW, there is a new and extended Standard Residential Tenancy Agreement (lease). There are many additional items that agents need to complete as part of the new lease document. The best way to obtain this information is of course by asking the landlord to provide the answers – they do own the property and should know the answers. We suggest that you use the information contained on the final page of the Condition Report and make this into a questionnaire to use with your landlords.
