Night Thrasher: RAVE is a fan film starring Eric Lane (Trapped in the Closet, Waist Deep, Soul Food) and written, directed and produced by Lawrence Lee Wallace (Urban Scenze, If You Love Me, Dark & Quiet The Execution of Trayvon Martin) based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name created by the great Tom Defalco and Ron Frenz. Growing up on the south side of Chicago we didn't have many "Hero's" we could relate to. Night Thrasher was ours, he was smart, tough, cool real and never gave up. He was the type of superhero we needed and one that is needed again. I created this fan film with NO intention of profit only to honor and pay homage to one of the first black superheroes created.

Night Thrasher: Rave is about Dwayne's beginning as the crime fighter. after tracking a business man looking to unload a powerful and dangerous synthetic drug, he suits up and takes them head on in the exciting and action packed short film.

Dwayne Michael Taylor led a hard life. As a child in Chicago, he saw his wealthy parents slain before his very eyes. This event drove him to hone himself into a human fighting machine in the pursuit of vengeance. Over time, this desire for revenge later evolved into an obsessive desire to punish all wrongdoers.
