The Revolution of Dignity Unofficial Anthem

The Revolution of Dignity began on November 21st, 2013 with small protests against the decision, made by the cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, to stop the preparations for signing the EU association agreement. First to stand up for the european future were simple college students, who were forcefully dispersed in the night of November 29th to November 30th. This occurrence outraged the society, so on the next day, hundreds of thousands of people began to come on the streets to protest, thus marking the beginning of the collapse of Yanukovich's dictatorship.

Since November 13th, 2014, Ukraine made an official holiday called "Day of dignity and Freedom", which is celebrated every year on November 21st.
