Airflow vs. Silent Case: Noise-Normalized Thermals

Описание к видео Airflow vs. Silent Case: Noise-Normalized Thermals

For this piece, we're looking at two of the best cases in their class for 2018: The Silent Base 601 represents the silence-focused PC case market, while the SilverStone RL06 represents the airflow-focused case market. Oftentimes, silence and airflow are presented as two diametrically opposing choices, but the reality is that we can have both by optimizing fan speed on a case with a mesh front. Instead of a closed-off front panel, we can just drop down fan RPM (and thereby reduce a gaming PC's noise) to achieve a silent PC build while also offering good thermal performance. Temperatures may even be better in this configuration than with a silence-focused case, as you'll see in our testing. There are still instances where this is sub-optimal (dust may be one of them), but it's a worthy consideration for new gaming PC builds.
