Layer 2 of 3 or 4 for quarter pans of Crispy from the Poolside Collection!

This color is a hot pink with pink to orange colorshifting iridescence.

Each watercolor pan is poured (or in this case, piped) in a few different layers. Why? because when the paint dries, the volume decreases due to the evaporated water. Multiple layers helps to ensure that each pan is filled the correct amount.

After each layer is poured, the tray of paints is set aside to dry for a few days. The key to dry paints is having each layer thoroughly dried before adding another.

The first 2 layers get the bulk of the paint poured into the pans. The next layers are for filling any bubbles and making sure each paint is filled evenly.
