James Jensen, the CTO of The Void, told KPFK that the levels, some of which are multiplayer, will take about 30 minutes for each player.
It also includes '4D' elements such as fans to simulate wind or mist.
The Void CEO Ken Bretschneider said that he envisions opening 250 centers around the world with the technology in the next five years.
He had given $13million of the fortune he amassed selling a cyber security company to the project as of May, according to the Washington Post.
They are currently using Oculus headsets, but plan on creating their own as well as their own virtual gun and gloves that will help feeling textures.
Jensen said that the name of The Void, which is set to open its Utah facility next summer' stands for 'Vision of Infinite Dimensions'.
Its creators say a trip to one of their virtual worlds will cost around $30.
