The Christmas spirit is all around in December, and the joy is something we all share, even though we may experience this festive season very differently.

The other day, as I wandered past a field of buttercups, my heart just sang. The tiny yellow petals swayed gently in the wind, almost as if they were waving at me. Back at my home studio, I couldn’t wait to capture that feeling in my art journal through collage. Every piece of paper and brushstroke held a little bit of that calm happiness.

The inspiration didn’t stop there. I carried it on into a Christmas wreath. I love how simple, handmade collages can bring small moments of calm and joy, and I hope this little festive creation brings warmth and a touch of inspiration to you, no matter where you are.
