The Boardwalk Deli at Disney's Boardwalk Resort just opened, replacing the highly regarded Boardwalk Bakery. We attended opening day to see how their artisanally crafted sandwiches and sweet pastries hold up. The deli is themed after a classic tri-state Boardwalk delicatessen. As former New Yorkers, we try to see how well the theming is executed and whether there's a classic Disney twist to the quick service eatery.
