What is Casba?
C-ASBA is an advanced form of the existing ASBA interface which is claimed to be more user friendly. Last year, the Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) launched the ASBA process that enabled investors to apply to buy shares of listed companies through their bank accounts.

How do you get C-ASBA?
Under the C-ASBA system, investors should first get C-ASBA Registration Number (CRN) from BFIs who provide such number after verification of demat account and bank details. To apply shares, investors will have to visit the BFIs, fill up their CRN Number, applied units of shares and demat account number.

What is CRN number Nepal?
Banks and financial institutions give CRN (C-ASBA Registration Number) to each investor after verifying the beneficiary account of the investor. Only investors who have obtained the CRN number can apply for the purchase of shares from their bank account.
