Its inclusion in the Times Higher Education 2026 World University Rankings among the top 400 universities worldwide marks a significant milestone, highlighting its rapid growth as a leading centre for research, innovation, and education. The university’s strengths in research excellence, industry collaboration, diversity, and global outlook greatly contribute to this recognition, reaffirming UM6P’s role as a key hub for science and entrepreneurship that encourages sustainable development in Africa. Complementing this global recognition, UM6P hosted the 8th International Conference on Informatics Applications (ICAI 2025) at its Benguerir campus.
