Standing at just 5 feet 3 inches tall, Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues was the shortest player in NBA history. Despite his small stature, Bogues enjoyed a successful 14-year career in the NBA, playing for four different teams.

Bogues was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He played basketball for Dunbar High School and was named Baltimore's Player of the Year in 1982. He left school early to pursue a professional career, but not before setting the school record for assists (which still stands to this day).

Drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1987, he quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his flashy style of play and his outgoing personality. For most of his career, Bogues served as a backup point guard but he still managed to put up solid numbers over the course of his 14-year NBA career.

In 1996, Bogues made history when he appeared alongside Michael Jordan and Larry Bird in a popular Super Bowl commercial for McDonald's. The spot was an instant classic and is still considered one of the best Super Bowl commercials of all time.
