Sentence is a group of words that makes a complete sense.
There are four types of sentences:
1. Declarative or Assertive
2. Interrogative
3. Imperative
4. Exclamatory sentences

*Declarative sentences are those sentences which are making a fact, statement or providing information. For example - The Earth revoulves around the sun.
*Interrogative Sentences are those which are asking questions.
For example - Where is the cat?
