In a time-honored Change of Command ceremony held at the Military Heritage Center on Fort Polk, COL Adam Barlow officially assumed command from COL Clifton Lopez, III. The ceremony marked a significant transition in leadership dedicated to the Soldiers, Families, and Civilians who call Fort Polk home.

Patrick Appelman, Director of IMCOM-Readiness, served as the guest speaker, commending both commanders for their dedication and vision.
